You see the fruit before the container sails.
We inspect every lot, photograph what we find, and send you the report while the shipment is still in Peru, when there is still something you can do about it.

What happens to every lot
Facility qualification
We verify certifications against the issuing bodies, review recent audit findings and visit the site. Certificates are checked for validity date, scope and product, not just for existence.
Pre-shipment inspection
A representative sample drawn across pallets, not from whatever box is nearest the door.
Maturity and caliber verification
Dry matter on avocados; firmness, Brix and berry size on blueberries. Calibers counted against your order, not against the label on the box.
Defect assessment
Fruit cut and scored against agreed tolerances. Internal and external defects recorded separately, with counts.
Packaging and cold chain check
Carton condition, labelling, pallet build and strapping verified. Pulp temperature taken at loading.
Report before departure
A photographic report with every measurement, sent before the container leaves.
What the report contains
- Lot and pallet identification, packhouse, harvest and packing dates
- Caliber distribution measured against the ordered specification
- Dry matter or Brix readings, sample by sample
- Defect counts by type, with tolerances shown alongside
- Photographs of the fruit, the packaging, the pallets and the loading
- Pulp temperature at loading and recorder placement
- A signed pass, conditional or reject conclusion
What we commit to
Inspection findings are shared whether or not they favour the shipment. A lot that fails specification is reported as failing, before it loads.
Claims procedure
Claims are opened against the inspection record and the temperature log, with the resolution agreed before the next shipment loads. ⚑ escreva o seu procedimento real: prazo apos a chegada, evidencia exigida, como negocia com o packing house. Nao publique promessa que nao consegue cumprir
Want to see a real report?
We will send a redacted inspection report from a recent shipment so you can judge the standard for yourself.
